I Second this request Just got the Moto360 many android wear apps have yet to redesign for the interface... have a feeling gen2 devices will get a much needed enhanced resolution.

Anyone had any luck integrating Taskerware to VC or EG?

IKROWNI,
I know this is well years late, but have successfully integrated into Google Now services using the Robo Browser and Jame's help. The attached Macro should give you a simple Google now command. I am still playing with the Google Now feature's and figuring out what all I could read/write to it, but it does have some nice features!

<macro>
<action actiontype="RoboB.Select" repeat="1" logic="False"><paramstring>GoogleNow</paramstring></action>
<action actiontype="RoboB.Navigate" repeat="1" logic="False"><paramstring>https://www.google.com/#q=Remind+ME+to+Walk+The+Cat+at+5PM&safe=off</paramstring></action>
<action actiontype="RoboB.Wait" repeat="1" logic="False"><paramstring></paramstring></action>
<action actiontype="RoboB.Show" repeat="1" logic="False"><paramstring></paramstring></action>
<action actiontype="RoboB.ElementByID" repeat="1" logic="False"><paramstring>act-rmd-send</paramstring></action>
<action actiontype="RoboB.Click" repeat="1" logic="False"><paramstring></paramstring></action>
</macro>

I will post a bunch of samples soon as I sort some things out. Of course be sure that your default browser is logged into google so that it can recognize you and signed in as same account as your android phone. I have confirmed on my Galaxy S3 just now I was told to walk my Cat... the Cat however did not agree

just a quick update from the road but tasker has enabled btle support and btle near status detection. i will be testing with that and roximity beacons soon as i get home. you could also test with regular bluetooth dongle from what i can tell. Still does not solve "room mapping" or triangulation but certainly a step in the right direction. will update this post later in the week.

Amazingly Entertaining and I learned something (How to Tie a Tie). Really cool and great demo though.

Just did some research and looks like the Google now system is currently on the US supported... Sorry Canada

Doing more testing here having hit or miss success as well. The way I have it programmed it will only work for reminders currently. I think the issue is in how I am sending the URL, I will look into it more after I have clippedyesterdays video and update the post. I am curious if you just go to Google and enter the command remind me click search does it bring up the reminder options? Also I should have mentioned you will need to be logged into a Google Account on your browser.

I have tinkered with the RoboBrowser actions and gotten some simple integration into the Google Now services. Google Now is one of googles less known services but has great potential and possibility. The Google Now service is integrated into every android 4+ device, most of you probably see it as the little mic icon on your home screen, and it is often joked as the Siri replacement. What is not well known is that Google Now is lightly supported through desktop Google searches, for example go to google and search "Remind me to walk the dog in 30 minutes" and it will come up with the handy reminder option... ok so what, VC can obviously create reminders, and the work GREAT... as long as I am home when it goes off. With Google Now your reminder syncs to your smart phone so you are reminded when ever you are and where ever you are; the service is also location intelligent so you can tell it to "Remind me when I get to work to Release VC Version 2" and when you arrive at your work address it will notify you. There is a ton more Google Now is capable of, including calendar events, flight info, Sports Scores, etc...
Here is a list of some commands http://trendblog.net/list-of-google-now-voice-commands-infographic/
That being said here is my XML for the Google Now Reminder, be gentle this is my first stab with RoboB actions and still tinkering. I will continue to add and share additional commands as I figure out each ones results id tag.

Nine5ter,
I am scheduled for my Borg implants in early 2045... all kidding aside I try to justify this all as research to become a home automation value added reseller with VC and integrations at the core of my product offerings... software and equipment ala carte but setup and experience as a service. Currently I see the market as fractured in that you can voice or smartphone control many different things but each has it's own proprietary app, where as the ability to use a single fully integrated solution is ideal... get rid of 12 remote controls with one universal controller.

Sean

Received the iBeacons in (ordered through Roximity) and their API, now searching for a developer to create the spacial recognition/room mapping app. Completely off topic but does anyone know of an android development company they would recommend (Sorry but No James you have enough on your plate =P). I am putting a few requests in to local companies I found on Google but would greatly value input if anyone knows a development company.

Thanks in advance.

OK I know VC is totally a Voice Control app, but this is way too cool to overlook... because honestly there are just times I don't feel like speaking.

Yes I have backed the project and hope to see my device by July. Hoping with the TCP pluggin I will be able to integrate Ring to activate commands by gesture.. not expecting it to replace voice control but a few basics like spinning finger clockwise for volume up or counterclockwise for volume down, swipe left or right to scroll through media, etc. I feel the future of the media center and smart home will not be voice control alone but a culmination of voice, wear-ables, and telepathy (ok last one is a wish).

For those attending (and even if you are not, I would like your input), please fill out the following survey so that I can prepare content for the hangout, and if anyone has something cool, exciting, etc. they would like to show please let me know, really would like this to be a community driven Hangout, not just me (or James) yammering on... is yammering a word?

And Again Here is the Google Event Link https://plus.google.com/u/0/events/cqsqp5aj71o3af6jr37qj7jqh4o?authkey=CJj0it3X3M_7Mw

Thanks All, Really looking forward to this!

And Google Plus Post here, will begin organizing documentation for the hangout, way to share the recordings for those who can not make it, etc. First and foremost I need everyone to confirm if they can make it and suggest dates or times, I have tentatively put Wednesday 8PM, but obviously can be flexible here if weekends or anything work better.

Hint taken, while I am the first to admit that I am still a newb when it comes to VC and will probably never catch up to some of the advanced users such as Kalle. That being said all I do in my professional career is play liaison between end users to technicians to developers. I will take this to the G+ community and see what we can do to organize a hangout. and PS the Documentation, wiki articles, and videos are great, I am just a "boob" and didn't read it.

Again many thanks James, honestly sometimes I get so caught up on the problem I forget to do the research.

Issue Closed
Resolution: RTFM (Read the F'ing Manual)

James,
Thanks and sorry about the code snippet. Actually what I was seeing on my OSD was the LastSpoken, looking back at the VC History I do see that the OSD is then displaying the Last Result after that... my confusion/mistake. My command is configured with Payloads but when I use {1} I just get the Value not the phrase (so I9 rather than "Living Room"). {LastSpoken} is enough confirmation for me, it let'''s me know that it received the command I intended.

As always, thanks James
