The problem remains.
I tried Kalle's code, but only my pc play the sound and i get an 'TTS set to english' OSD on my android phone
Is there a setting in VC itself somewhere that turns off the TTS?

I'm having the same problem with android 4.3.1
Toggling makes no difference. And I'm getting other messages: OSD messages, confidence, and alternates. It also shows the TTS tekst. Only thing I'm not getting is the voice itself.

Looking forward to seeing it developed

I found a lifehacker post that shows someone uses android speech recognition to control his electronica.
Ofc this software isn't as versatile as VC ;).

MediaMonkey / Re: Mediamonkey error with latest VC
February 04, 2013, 04:54:54 PM
I overwrote a previous installation.
Does that explain it? Or should i still send you the two ZIP's

I've also forgot to mention that I have to run VC in administrator every time as well to control MM. XBMC etc works fine without running it as administrator.

MediaMonkey / Mediamonkey error with latest VC
February 04, 2013, 04:06:30 PM
Hello everyone

I've run into a problem regarding VC (first occurred when to version updating to 0.9.8.0) and MM.
I can't send voice commands to MM with VC, unless I run MM as administrator (every time). The strange thing is that when I use a backed up, older version (0.9.6.8) of VC, I don't have to run MM as administrator for VC to work. Both versions are in the same folder, both are allowed by windows firewall and are sending the same commands.
I get the following error appears in VC history: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID ... failed due to following error: 80080005

Is this because of the update? or am I doing something wrong somewhere

Regards

Thanks james :)

Is there anything VC cannot do?  :D
#12
Good suggestion. Maybe it could even require a voice confirmation before shutting down

My XBMC september nightly is running fine here on two windows 7 pc's :)

I'm getting a script failed error when I try to open voxtools. I'm running Frodo, September monthly build
