Hey! I installed Voxcommando on my windows pc, windows 10. My kodi is installed on raspberry pi. How do i get my xsql working on the raspberry. I tried to put the userdara database from the raspberry´s ip and folders and its giving errors.
Here two photos

Welcome to the forum.
It depends whether you are using a mySQL database with Kodi, or an sqLite database with Kodi.
Your photos appear to show:
1. the xMySql plugin in VC, and then
2. the Xsql plugin in VC (which is for peope who are using an sqLite database)
You should only be using one of those plugins, not both.
Use the xMySql plugin only if you are using a mySQL database in Kodi. Otherwise, you should use the xSql plugin to generate your payload xml.
In the xSql plugin screenshot that you posted, the file paths to the various databases are green. That indicates that VC has found those Kodi databases.
I suspect that means that on your Raspberry Pi you're actually using sqLite, not mySql, to store your media library info. (Though I'm not sure. Maybe that database will still exist, even if you're not actively using it.)
HOWEVER: You will probably still get an error, because you have incorrectly changed the "Output folder" path.
That file path should be left as:
.\XbmcPayloads
If you look in your VoxCommando folder, you'll see a subfolder there called "XbmcPayloads".
The output folder path is the folder where VoxCommando will store your payloadXML files. You should not change that file path to a folder on your Raspberry Pi.
Try fixing the file path in the xSql plugin, and then click "save and generate".
If you're still getting error messages, you'll need to post a log so that we can see more details.

Here is the error i am getting.
After pressing, ok, or continue what ever it says
(http://kuvapilvi.fi/k/yoFh.png)
Can the problem effect to when i am saying find movie and then its always just taking word starring then actress or actor. Then if i say like Daniel craig its giving something error dummy ..
Or when saying find tv show .....
its putting the text like find tee vee series error
You can also try generating payload xml using the xJson plugin.
Then giving error like this when pressing generate all

Do you have music or recorded TV shows in your Kodi library?
TV shows are recorded. I have a external library for music. different ip.
My raspberry that i am using is only streaming my recordings from my other raspberry using VDR addon
VC gets media information by one of three methods:
querying a Kodi mySql database
querying a Kodi sqLite database
querying Kodi using its JSON-RPC api to retrieve data on audio and video libraries: http://kodi.wiki/view/JSON-RPC_API/v6
If your media metadata is not accessible via any of these methods due to a special home setup, I guess that could be a problem.
For now, you can check whether the non-TV show and non-music commands are working for you in VC.
Maybe other people with more Kodi experience than me will have some thoughts.
What do i have to ask to check. and what would be the answr
Its annoying. According to Xjson when pressing generate all music doesnt generate and tv shows either but movies does. and when saying find movie skyfall. nothing happens. it takes my talk as find movie starring actor error dummy choice
Whatever i am trying to search its always end up with error. when watched a movie skyfall yesterday. ended it and sayed that continue movie skyfall it worked but nothing else in search works
Yes. If you make up commands off the top of your head that don't actually exist, you'll probably find things annoying.

I took few musics from my music library to my own music library and now it works. music search works. but doesnt pvr streaming find work. i cant bring my recordings to my own library..
I have all my musics in different pc. Theyre not at 192.168.1.(etc) theyre not in my windows pc. Theyre in network different ip. And my kodi just downloads or streams them from there. cant voxcommando then pick the songs from there without deleting anything in accedently. same happens with my movies or recordings
if you are trying to generate payloads for Kodi to listen to music or view TV Shows and Movies they must be in your Kodi library
is your music scanned into Kodi on your raspberry pi? (in your Kodi music Library)
are your TV shows and Movies scanned into Kodi on your raspberry pi? (in your Video Library)
What Version of Kodi is your raspberry pi running?
also how many movies do you have in your Kodi library? the screen shot shows that it found 107 movies is that the correct amount?
To get started go to the browser on your ip kodi
and check that there are files in your library.
then adjust the xml get on with your console.
if 2 consoles copy the database from 1 to 2 and enjoy.
Unverified works.
b
But i am scared that if i say clean music and i have whole music library from our network scanned to my own library that it deletes everything from network. And i dont have tv shows. i have pvr recordings.
What do i have to do to get pvr find work or channel up etc
instal plagin pvr on rasbery
genereit tv on rasbery
set comand from
http://voxcommando.com/forum/index.php?topic=2480.0
How do i install those code texts?
скопируй и вставь в vc редактор
copy past
To where?
так
отсюда скопируй базы на флешку
перенеси их на комп
потом в плагине
xsql
переделай путь до баз и готово у тебя базы в xml
ЭТО КАК ПРИМЕР ЛУЧШЕ ИСПОЛЬЗОВАТЬ СТАНДАРТНЫЙ ПЛАГИН
Thanks. I am not russian so i dont really understand what your saying :D. but your pictures told the thing:=)
Can i trust and sync my library. can i put on some setting that if i delete a music from my library it doesnt effect in network library anyway
IS there anyway to move audio from my windows pc to my tv? :D
You can use Google translate to translate what mr.Niki has posted

What do you mean?
I use 2 different consoles raspberries.
music and video are on the server.
I configured automatic database updates on the raspberries.
and takde automatic synchronization of databases between raspberries.
VC automatically makes a request through the plugin database.
To move my tts audio from windows to my raspberry.
no tts
I think only how to distribute the sound columns have not yet done
So if my raspberry is at 192.168.1.1217 and my musics are in 192.168.1.9111 for example. Can vc take my command like. Play some Rolling Stones. Without moving musics
I showed in the post above how to play music from any device in the home network
I cant understand russian. Could you give me instruction like.
Go music etc..
2. ...
If you want to play music on Kodi and give voice commands to do it then you absolutely must have that music scanned into your Kodi library. Period. It does not matter where the actual files are stored on your network but they must be scanned into your Kodi library.
Then you can generate XML using the xJson plugin.
Some things like actors are probably not being scanned in the xJson plugin. In order to get more than just the basic xml scanned then you will need to use the xSql plugin. You need to make your database files accessible to your windows PC and then enter the correct path to the files in order for this to work. If it does not work then it means that you either entered the wrong file path, or you did not set up your network share correctly.
Simple PVR commands like channel up and channel down are included in the default configuration for Isengard in version 2.2.1.6 of VoxCommando. Scanning the names of your TV channels also requires you to use the xSQL plugin to generate XML.
My Take me out to watch doesnt work. When i say Take me out to watch Skyfall it doesnt do anything in kodi. but it takes the command correctly. Play movie skyfall works. What would be the problem
Another problem with music database. I synced my whole music from network to my kodi today. This is the error i am getting with songs now, why?
It looks like you have too many songs. How many are in your library? Your Raspberry Pi is probably too slow to provide the entire list of songs before the default web time-out.
Thats what i though. About 1 million
I have lots of music, lots of. I think i got it working some how. I copied the database to my own computer and put xsql plugin to read it there. becouse it doenst matter becouse i dont update my music library anymore
But why aint Take me out to watch (movie) working? play movie (name) is working but take me out to watch doesnt.

Even if you can scan that xml there is no way it can handle voice commands for that many songs so just forget about playing songs by name.

Maybe because you ain't got Cinema Vision installed and configured correctly?
Youre mad at me >:(
am I? :biglaugh
Yes :D

Hello,
So I wanted to see what you did to fix the issue where it was unable to open the databases. I also found that if I went and copied the file locally I can get it to work. However it does not work when trying to load from the share. I have gone ahead and even chmod the databases on the Pi to be 0777 and I still am unable to open the database files. Is there anything else here in play that I am missing. This is a Raspberry Pi 3 running OpenElec. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Does the pi support samba? Sorry I don't have one so I probably won't be much help.
maybe it will help someone.
Sorry for the translation Google.
I installed xbmc on a raspberry 2.
Servers and synology and qnap.
To access the library through smb
it is necessary to enable the guest account (it is possible to set the password)
Only after that xbmc on raspberries will receive access to your library
OpenElecs by default typically install Samba as well as the RPi build, but it can be disabled or declined during the initial wizard. Within the OE system panel it can quickly be toggled/installed again.
Or switch to the more preferred networked MySQL database implementation with kodi :)
Ok so it is not necessary to enable guest accounts. I have an active directory setup at my home as well. The OpenElec system has samba enabled and I can reach the databases just through my basic explorer. I also use Emby to handle my library, however it does sync with the Kodi local library. Again as I had mentioned copying the library works it just does not like connecting. I used to use the MySQL setup but I"ve switched to Emby for syncing multiple users across the web. The Pi does support Samba and I can reach the files and they play fine. It just only seems to be an issue when trying to access the database from voxcommando. I do have another computer running windows though that is also synced so maybe I'll just point to that instance of the databases and call it a day.

ahhm. I copied the database to my PC and opened it there. And always let it open it when starting carefully.
