Yesterday I found this great application an installed the latest version on my computer (Windows7 Professional, German)
But when I try to start the program I get an error:

unable to start engine - problem with culltures
System.ArgumentException: No recognizer of the required ID found.
Parameter name: culture
   at System.Speech.Recognition.Speech.SpeechRecognitionEngine..ctor(CutureInfo
culture)
   at VoxCommando.Main.InitializeSpeechRecognitionEngine()

Version 0.875b works fine...

Any ideas how I get 0.982 to work?

Hi Dave,
Willkommen im Forum. Ich gehe mal davon aus, es ist die Version 0.892 von der Downloadseite  ;)
Ok, wann kommt der Fehler? Während der Installation, oder wenn Du VoxCommando startest?
Es ist wichtig das Du die "Voxcommando.exe" als Administrator ausführts (mit rechter Maustaste auf die Voxcommando.exe klicken und "als Adiministrator starten" auswählen).
Melde Dich ob es funktioniert hat.

if you don't have an English language pack installed in windows, then try going to the VoxCommando options page and setting the speech language to German. (DE)

ok, it was the language pack. thought i tried it, but apperently i didn't.
now it works :)

please let me know if you are also able to run it in German by setting the options.

there are some missing translations, but it works fine in german  :)
