I think if it really works well as an array mic at a reasonable distance and does a decent job of filtering out noise, then it would be well worth the price to a lot of users.  Quite reasonable actually.

But that's a lot of ifs!

hmmm.  That's weird.  The first time I followed that link it went to a wide black array mic.  Now it is something different.
